Vietnam Water, Sanitation and Environment Joint Stock Company, which has brief name of VIWASE, is established under Enterprise Law of Vietnam, operating in the field of water supply, drainage, sewerage, sanitation and environment.

Founded in 1954 as a part of Water and Electrical Designing Department, through period of development, expansion and growth, the Company had different names. In 1995, it was renamed as Vietnam Consultant on Water Supply, Sanitation and Environment (VIWASE), and in July 2002 as Vietnam Water, Sanitation and Environment Corporation. In 2006, the company was officially reorganized into joint-stock company. VIWASE has its registered headoffice at No. 5 Duong Thanh Str., Hanoi, and a consulting office in Ho Chi Minh City and a branch in Danang City. Presently, VIWASE is managing and operating internationally-standardized laboratories serving for activities of research, survey, professional engineering design for water and sanitation environmental sectors.

VIWASE is eligible and possesses full capability of providing the comprehensive consultancy services from master plan,formulation of investment report and investment project to detailed design and construction supervision for water supply, drainage and sewerage, sanitation, EIA, resettlement and urban technical infrastructure projects over regions of Vietnam.

We are currently engaged in projects financed by most of the major international funding agencies, i.e. WB, ADB, JICA; FINNIDA, DANIDA, KfW, BTC, AUSaid, EDCF (Korea) and other organizations.
